Yeah i just realized I haven't updated this blog in a while. Have been concentrating too much on updating pictures in my deviantart and flickr galleries that I've neglected the verbal charting of my progress.

Well a lot has come to pass since my last post back in august. I've gone through my first quarter at Gnomon, have attended a workshop, and have spent quite some time living in Hollywood. I think that these past few months have taught me a great deal and my art has improved considerably.

I'm going to try to chart my progress better on this blog.

Taking a new direction

Decided to attend a small school over in Hollywood, California. The school has a bunch of classes dealing mainly with computer art as well as pre production design type stuff. Should be fun. Especially since i'm making a roadtrip across the USA to get there.

Also since my last update i've added quite a few new pictures to my Flickr gallery, so be sure to check those out. I'll figure out how to get those damn thumbnails working on this page one of these days...

Aftermath of Comicon

Have been busy handling a myriad of different tasks that are mostly involved with trying to get myself hired somewhere, for about a week now. But i must say, Comicon was the best convention i ever went to. I got to meet so many people that i would have never suspected would be there. Also spent a small fortune in autographs, comic books, and various bits of loot.

I also have the knowledge that I caught the second freebie thrown by the G4 hosts that were filming there on the second day. It bounced out of somebody's hands, landed at someone elses feet about 4 yards away from me, and despite having a bag of con-stuff in one hand, a cellphone in the other, and a huge backpack on my back, I managed to grab that star wars figurine faster than the guy could bend down to pick it up. It was truly a ninja moment. And i'm not even a star wars fan. :/

Goin' to Comicon

Tomorrow I board the plane to travel across this land to head towards the San Diego Comicon, with the intention of advertising my art a bit. I'm looking at it as an opportunity to not only walk around and absorb some good ol nerd culture but to talk to other artists, talk to some company reps. and try to get myself seen. Also, Considering how I haven't really much advertised this site outside of including the url in my previous resumes, chances are that some of you comicon attendants are very likely the first people to come here, and that I personally spoke to you at the convention. So welcome to my site visitor, any feedbck is welcome. My gallery is available in the link titled "my Artwork". If you are curious about anything feel free to contact me at, I check my email 3 or 4 times a day so responses should arrive fairly quickly

Ended up making this interesting design instead

In other news, I've decided to head over to the San Diego Comicon to see what sorts of business opportunities I can find.

New persective drawing

I'm about to begin a more in depth perspective study of the mech within the picture titled IFBE within my gallery. In it i'll get to explain all the design decisions i took in a more detailed manner.
